This little owl is made from unglazed, pure white porcelain, with a natural warm-coloured led light inside it. when the light's on, the porcelain is slightly transparent, allowing the light to glow through and highlight the feathers and shape of the owl. The led is powered by 2 small 3v lithium batteries (accessible by screwdriver).
