This planter is made from white earthenware, glazed with a satin turquoise glaze inside and out for water-tightness. it has a notch on the back (built in to the ceramic body) to allow it to be hung securely on the wall with a nail or screw. it also makes a great wall-hung vase or storage cubby-hole.
